Man. Everyone is throwing up their little LA gang sign and it seriously kills me. LA is just not that great. Sure, they make some good movies and music there, but the smog is ridiculous. The ocean is gross. There are way too many strip malls. There is just not that much to be proud of. LA is kind of lame.

That Janis Joplin chick had no idea what she was talking about. That whole “Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose” could not be farther from the truth, because you are not really be free unless you have hope. Just ask that Obama dude. He is staking his whole career on that concept. I hope it works. In the meantime, I am going to look at this cute little t-shirt for inspiration.
